Race for Life

I participated in the Cancer Research Race for life on 19th July at Worthing Rugby club.

My mummy and I got up early to prepare. We had baths and got dressed  and then went to the shop some water for our walk. My Daddy drove us to where the race was being held where we met-up with our friends. Before the race started we performed a warm-up which was fun. The race started on time at 11am; lots of people ran (including my Auntie), but we walked. The course was at in the large fields at the Rugby Club. The walk was fun, we chatted and laughed which passed away the time. We were lucky as the rain stayed away and we were met with sunshine for the walk. Many people were dressed in funny outfits and most people wore pink. It took us 1hr and 10 minutes to complete the course. at the end of the race everyone received a medal for our particiation in the race for life.

Here is a multiplication learning tool that I used on BBC Bitesize to revise my 4 times table; I have placed the code on m page so that all my friends can come to my site and learn their times tables as well.

The 4x table is a fairly easy one to crack and this tool will help you out as it did me!

How to use: Simply click the correct number when it comes into view underneath the sum, i.e. 1 x 4 = 4.

Today I went swimming with my Mum, my Brother and my cousin. My Dad dropped us off in his big car. We got  out of the car and charged towards the swimming baths.

We got ready in the changing room then we went in the pool. I jumped into the pool in a flash! When my brother got in I played with him my mum held him so he didn’t sink. SUDDENLY…  My Brother started to swim.

With his armbands it was great. I played with my cousin up and down the pool, she is a good swimmer. We went into the big pool for a bit it was very cold so we went back to mummy and my brother. While I was swimming I met another little girl she was really nice she is deaf and she taught me her name and also taught me how to say my name in sign language, which was nice.

We got the train home which delighted my little brother as he is train mad; in fact ever train to him is called Thomas!

It was quite a cold day and the four of us walked all the way home, which is not a bad thing as it keeps us all fit and healthy!

Today I was with my Mummy and my little brother and we decided (actually I decided) to use clay jewellery set that I got for Christmas. It was the first time I had used clay jewellery and we have started to make some nice necklaces and bracelets.
